The development of the wooden PONY set dates back to 1991, when academy-trained painter Jaroslav Chadima (creator of the set) created this brilliant toy, which contains the beauty of natural beech, especially for the development of the rough and fine motor skills of children.
In 1991 PONY MIROŠOVICE Ltd. began making these wooden sets and is responsible for selling them at home and abroad. The headquarters of the company are in Mirošovice u Prahy. In the early days, the production workshop was equipped with a unique CNC machine for producing wooden beams, a drilling machine for producing wooden rods, and other dedicated equipment. Most of the production was done directly in the company. In 2012 a mutual agreement was reached to end cooperation with the creator of the set and PONY MIROŠOVICE bought all rights to the production and sale of the wooden PONY set.
During 2015, production was moved to Wallachia. Collaboration with a long-term partner is the aim for the further development of the construction set and for raising awareness about it among customers, together with increasing production capacity. The close connection between producing and selling the wooden set enables better response to customer requests. Regardless of the above, the most important thing for us remains a playful way for children to develop their skills and strengthen the bond to their parents. In most cases, the construction set also draws dads, moms, granddads, grandmas, uncles and aunts into the creative mode, as well as everyone who makes time in today’s hectic world to play with their little ones.
The sophisticated design of the PONY construction set stands at the forefront of outstanding wooden sets not only in the Czech Republic, but throughout the whole of world.
