The program of the prepared day was started by introduction. Each of the children told us something about themselves, some of them enlarged so much that it was impossible to stop them. This was followed by a fairy tale which dragged the children into the story of the PONY day. Children were divided into two groups and each group´s task was to find a small case with parts of the construction set and then, with the help of our assistants, build a scooter. Children hurled themselves into building and we could see they wanted to build the best and fastest machines to win the race which was prepared for them as a reward. While we were preparing the race track, children should have drawn a PONY toy which they would like to build next time.

When the race track was built, children divided into four teams and the race started. Children raced into the slalom track on self-made scooters with lightning speed. Children were divided into four teams and it was clearly seen that each of them wanted to be the fastest. After the race were children given small gifts and they enjoyed free entertainment. They were rollicking on constructed toys that we had brought them. They immediately took a fancy to the formula, horse (PONY) and robot Jarmil.

Children´s naturalness, inquisitive looks and eventually big effort of small builders to finish their machine persuaded us that the construction set PONY gives joy and develops children in a playful way.

We are already looking forward to another kindergarten, playroom or after-school care centre, where we will be able to show children the beauty of playing with the wooden construction set.
